Where in the bible does Jesus say he cares about your fixed income ?

If a poor widow can give Jesus her last penny , then you got no excuse.

This is why I say most christians don't respect their own God. Imagine haggling with your lord and savior like he work at capital one or like Jesus work at the utility company. Breh you know what is due. :mjlol:
for some context of Old Testament tithing. It originates from Abraham and Melchisedek

the other Joseph/Pharoah (Taxes)

You should give what's in your heart to give, which is what the New Testament tells you to do. Tithing was NOT money in the Bible and your pastor is not qualified to receive tithes as they are not Levitical priests, so any church member trying to guilt trip you into not giving 10% of your income is misusing the Bible.

However if God puts it on your heart to give 10% or more, do that and do it joyfully.
