This is what kills me about these crusaders. They are just like The religious people they fight - they have FAITH in something, say science, even though that is still a closed and belief based system, and we don't know how or why things work on a logical/scientific level. If you want someone to prove that god exists... Prove that he doesn't exist. Better yet, try to prove any scientific fact beyond a shadow of doubt, in the absolute , and you will fail. The greatest thinkers in human history acknowledged a god, no atheists among them, but an unemployed coli poster @Napoleon thinks he knows better. H'okaAaaay...

I agree a lot of atheists are confused hypocrites. I get where OP is coming from though because there are also a lot of ignorant religious folk who follow blindly and then push their beliefs on others. So maybe that's why there's so many obnoxious atheists.

But at least the religious person stands for something where as the atheist literally stands for nothing. They'll tell you that you're wrong but won't provide an "alternative right." There is nothing in science that can disprove God seeing as how God authored every scientific law, discovered or not, so I never understand why they offer that as an "argument". Plus that's all based off their own faith or belief in whoever they got their "facts" from. "Facts" that still don't disprove God anyway. So if someone chooses not to believe they should probably just leave it at that and KIM.

I personally admit that I don't know shyt. And I believe anyone claiming they have such things all figured out is full of shyt. Believing something is true because it can't be disproven is a logical fallacy also. I can't sit here and prove that unicorns don't exist.

And even if I have faith in something, that does not therefore mean your god exists.

It should be a personal thing. What do my beliefs have to do with you and vice versa? People die over religion because of what homie said, overestimating the importance of their beliefs. My beliefs are important to me as I'm sure most people's are but when I try to project that on the next man, that's when it becomes a problem.

But with such a general definition of God, namely that he/she/it is everything that is, there's really no point in using the term "God".
