In my opinion the GOAT video game soundtrack.. music puts you in another world, smoke one to this and get lost

face for? this is Chrono Cross appreciation thread not Chrono Trigger which is also a great soundtrack I just find this one more creative and uniqueAnd it's arguable which the better soundtrack is
Chrono Cross had to much to live up too.
Trigger is legit my all time favorite game ever.

I might actually try and replay this. I don't think I really could appreciate this when I played it the first time. Pretty sure I'd just beat Megaman Legends, Xenogears, and Parasite Eve all around the same time so this went to the bushes pretty quick....
Yeah it was a solid rpg, but it wasn't living up to Xenogears and even PE at the time.
I finished it off the strength of Trigger, looking for tie in's and stuff.... It had some unique stuff and good music and it was really "bright" and pascal like artwork.
The ending of that game drove me insane tho...

So Chrono Cross came out 18 years ago today in the US. I loved this game as a kid. Wasnt just a great soundtrack, its a certified classic through and through.

these songs make me want to play chrono cross! i never beat it and i think chrono trigger is the greatest game ever made
