This stretch of Tenn, Mizzou, florida, kentucky and auburn can lead to a chance to redeem ourselves in atlanta. Alabama is better, but not not 38-10 better. Our gameplan was trash, we seemed timid, and we couldn't execute at all. It was a bad game, credit to bama. My only expectations are for our young team to play in big games like this as often as possible and build depth. We need to get battle tested and build our dept

Saban is great. Richt is good. The depth at bama compounds that fact. If Richt had 5 straight #1 recruiting classes, do you think he would still underachieve? If UGA's administration lived and breathed football like Alabama's, would he be more successful? If we oversigned, could we build depth better? Im using hypotheticals because these are things Richt will never have. He cant match saban. I came to terms with that awhile ago. But he should be competitive, which leads to better chances to win.

Richt did nothing to lose that 2012 sec championship. He coached a GREAT game(ok, maybe he should have taken a timeout on the 5). Bama's depth took over. What that 2012 team had(depth, toughness, leadership, playmakers and a good qb) is all richt needs to compete with anybody. 2007 was another one. 2002 was another. All 3 of those teams would be in the playoffs. He pisses me off when they lose games they shouldn't, but the same happens to Saban.

Exactly. He has to win this one. It's ironic. The last time Richt beat Saban was in 07. Two weeks later we lost to the vols in Neyland, which was used as the reason lsu jumped us to play for the NC.
