As a fellow emcee, if you really have this mindset I would be ashamed to call you an emcee.

And the utter direspect of a legend and pioneer is disgusting.

Rosenberg is very close to making my "people I'd kill in cold blood if I had immunity" list.

Cosign. To be honest Europeans respects our culture more that a whole lot of dudes over here. They don't give a fukk about top 40 or relevance. I spoke to some white and black people out there. It's plenty of hip-hop heads that respects the legends. Ya don't appreciate shyt. Always talking about relevance and money. Shyt ya probably don't even have. Actin like a&rs like ya run a label. What happened to people just being fans and liking who they like. Half of ya don't even respect the legends that helped bring this culture where it is. We the only people that wait for a hip hop honors instead of honoring our own on a regular basis. Then ya complain about cacs taking over and why ya artist ain't poppin. And so worried about how much business Jay-Z handling or how much cake 50 got like they giving u a nobel peace prize for a nygga that don't even know u breathin. And constantly making excuses for their garbage as albums. This is just my opinion honestly. Ya cheerlead for these rappers with little to no talent like ya afraid ya won't fit in. Looking for validation from dikk riding radio. Thinking ya won't get a$$ cause u not bumping the latest beyonce or drake single. Probably rolling ur windows up cause u bumping jaz-o instead. I'm not telling u what to like but atleast have a valid argument to back it up. Instead of calling nyggas old broke irrelevant haters. Cause u can't prove this bullshyt ya bumping can't even hold a candle to ghost written roxanne bars lol.

Yeah, xenophobia is just like racism, bullshyt, you judge people as individuals not their colour or location. I remember hearing a story, forgot who it was about but might have been like a KRS and someone in Japan or somewhere met him and cried cause it meant so much to them lol. To be dismissive of anyone really is stupid, and no-one real does that, Bam's shyt is called the UNIVERSAL Zulu Nation for a reason, I think something Chuck has is about Planet Earth and worldwide Hip Hop too. We're all brothers and sisters in Hip Hop regardless of the bullshyt. There's members of the Zulu nation all over the world. Even the music Bam and them used to play originally was culturally diverse, and at the start they didn't play Hip Hop cause there wasn't Hip Hop. And with sampling and shyt too it's an amalgamation of many things mixed with our own shyt. African, Caribbean, European and so on. I think it works how it does everywhere, there's a lot of ignorant a$$holes everywhere and real people everywhere too. It's like sometimes with something like WWE, sometimes people in U.S get spoilt cause they see them all the time, if they go somewhere like let's say.. India, they will go crazy cause they hardly ever get to see them, or somewhere in Africa so they often appreciate it that much more. Often the artists are very well respected and supported abroad, it's love. I know a lot of the underground and legend artists make very good money touring abroad cause yes it's true in some cases they eat better internationally than being restricted nationally. And I'm pleased they can eat internationally and sustain and maintain with that international revenue, it's a very positive thing. I've met MC's and all kinds of HipHoppas globally and it's all love and respect, there's no noticeable different other than accents, we know the same shyt, know what's ill, it's a bond between people who love and live Hip Hop. Infact to be real some of the international heads often know more than the U.S ones, it varies individually of course though. For real, that's a good point, fukk Hip Hop Honours if you ain't gonna respect them 365. They deserve HUGE respect for allowing everyone to eat in the first place. I've always tried to personally give back financially through business to some of the legends and greats, partly because their work is often a pinnacle level. Whether it be songs or shows, KRS to this day wrecking stage shows, while a lot of people struggle in that department and are bland. Yeah the priorities are all fukked too often, people boasting over fukking numbers instead of music, boasting about who their banging instead of music, shyt is fukking music lol. Exactly, that's some clown shyt, who needs that shyt to get p*ssy? Someone with no game or authenticity. Cheerleeding for these shytty artists when they wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire then diss the ones trying to uplift you... fukked mentality. Yeah, people love to put people in labels nowadays to discredit them, fukk all that bullshyt, only sheep fall into that nonsense.

Brother Ali schooling him. Rosenberg is a clown

Just seen this lol. Exactly, I strongly dislike when Rosenberg tries to do that shyt, he even did it to Papoose and Papoose is a fukking artist, like don't say you do MORE than an artist, that's crazy. Lots of different people can do different things for Hip Hop, but Rosenberg wants to say he's doing more than the artists? When arguably your organisation is doing a lot of negative things too? And corrupt... nah. And he's certainly not doing more than Chuck D has done and does, that's inarguable.... Brother Ali is real and is friends with Chuck so he knows what's good. That's a case in point, how much Brother Ali do we hear on Hot 97? Because we should be, did they even play the joint he did with Chuck? If not why not? Chuck is a legend and Brother Ali is a worldwide acclaimed artist. He toured at Rock The Bells and does international tours, is highly respected and done a lot of things. There has to be BALANCE, nothing wrong with playing a Lil Wayne, but there IS something wrong with JUST playing a Lil Wayne and ignoring a Brother Ali, KRS-One, Chuck D, Immortal Technique, and a bunch of other people. Did they play Blu and Fashawn's music? If not why not? Did they some of Chris Rivers mixtape joints? If not why not? They should be playing the best music from everywhere not just the highest charting. It should be about the music not who you are cool with.
