Just got out. 7 or 8 out of 10. The ending….. bruh :dead:

it actually was kinda funny at certain parts. Acting was not a problem. The kid wasn’t bad at all. Editing for kills was weird as fukk. Thought we were gonna get a Mekhi phifer in dawn of the dead moment but I didn’t think too much about it :skip:

I was disappointed no lie

No spoilers.

The first 25 minutes of the film? Great.

The rest of the film until the last two minutes? Terrible.

The last two minutes of the film? I'm not exaggerating—dead serious—when I say this is probably one of the worst endings of any film of all time. I mean it. The shift in tone during those last two minutes, relative to the rest of the movie, is truly unbelievable. I don't understand what they were thinking. It literally felt like a completely different movie.

I really wanted to like this.
See you for the bone collector in January :umad:

Probably gonna watch this again, I saw someone say it’s an existential horror instead of a straight up horror and it makes sense.

I Had an issue with the mom-son dynamic but after thinking about it…I get it.

You have the father-son journey then you have the mother-son journey which leads to the son having his own path.

It’s very symbolic & that’s how you create new characters instead of relying on Cillian Murphy.

Does Murphy have a big role?
