I'm pretty certain he didn't but running from a stolen car with a burner in your hand while police chase you is pretty much a death sentence on its own.

I hate stories like this because the media tends to blow these up.....you'll get some Blacks saying "this is a tragedy, we demand justice." White people will swarm to this story and be like "uh, he had a gun, got out of a stolen car and ran." They use these cases as justification for police violence towards us.

Meanwhile there are plenty of examples like Philando Castile, Botham Jean etc., where brehs were completely innocent and got killed. The media is slower to push these stories even though they are too common.
