I don't think so.
I feel cipha is one of the few genuine ny DJ personalities left.
Also, if he did not move on a contract on numerous occassions.
I respect that because,...he works in good faith and knew they were bad deals to take.
Everyone is not a revenue grab phony.
Cipha is one fo the few left In ny.
who comes across as really about the culture and making business built from that mOdel.
Cipha needs to be like himself,.. A good faith genuine cat.

DJ Khaled blew up and doesnt call Cipha Sounds anymore or respond to his texts despite the fact they came up together in the DJ circuit and Cipha helped support alot of the projects that made Khaled who he is today..

Cipha goes out of his way to text him to get him on his morning show, his comedy gigs and hot 97 events but Khaled ignores the texts and correspondence so Cipha feels a way about that and overly expresses himself emotionally on the air for 30 minutes. Khaled keeps it professional and says he has love for Cipha and still feels they are friends and the relationship was hurt because of Cipha and calls him a liar who is acting out for ratings. Cipha sounds like a woman upset his so called friend doesnt want to support his endeavors anymore. Both of them are bs'ing one another.

In the end Cipha gets exposed for not responding to text messages and suffering from the same communication issues hes accusing Khaled of.

Its so demonic, friends. :sitdown:

yes and no.

yes, I believe ciph is a good dude, and you never get a bad vibe from him, but he is clearly an introvert recently learning how to open up...to bodies/groups of people. big misconception about introverts is they don't have people skills, when in fact they do well when its one on one, which is why he's had so many great relationships w/ important artists for the past 20 years...but I don't believe for a second that every contract he's passed up was bad and if you believe in the talent you know a contract can be renegotiated depending on the amount of success you achieve. Khalid is overbearing and he could have very well been lying, but his conviction in that conversation about everything but the wedding points to the good guy whose just opening up got in his feelings and just started reeling off accusations out of emotion. Khalid's man came over and immediately exposed one "misunderstanding." a lot of this sounds like ciph made it up in his mind. "khaled only calls when im on the radio" when it could be a busy extrovert who hears you on the radio reaches out exactly when he's thinking about you, then the introvert overthinking it as a "move" and letting shyt fester.

I don't disagree I'm just repeating opinions on himself and his past that he has put out there on Juan Ep....He's stated several times he feels he has been too much of a nice guy and has gotten taken advantage of...

Im sure hes a busy man and maybe he just doesnt consider Cipha as close of a friend that Cipha considers him. In a business sense maybe but not enough to support his comedy routines, personal endeavors and radio show unless hes promoting something. Cipha likes to brag about what hes done for artists so i guess he feels a way when he shows them love on the air and they dont want to wake up early to do his radio show, come to his comedy routines or show up to hot97 events that hes hosting. :manny: This is an internal conflict that should have been resolved off air.

Khaled crushed his career though when he said.
