I've been on City Data forum over 8 years now, and if you're not from NYC, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, SF, Denver, you basically live in a ghetto.

Move to a black city looking to move to an area with few blacks. Alrighty then. I mean damn, just say you wanna live in a white neighborhood. Just to single out us black people is uncalled for. I do like city data though as they have been pretty helpful on the Minneapolis boards. The only thing I hate is that reading certain posts people get offended when you ask about black neighborhoods or professional blacks. You see the usual why does it have to be black only or why can't everyone be included. I hate that.

People take that data (especially about crime and racial demographics) seriously when they are evaluating potential places to live. The frequent coded talk about race on the forums is a reflection of that.
