City-data forums are SOOOOO racist!

How do u end up on cac sites and then still create a profile tho

It was 2008 and I found city-data when I was still living in Pittsburgh. Figured I would go on there and share some memories of some clubs that I used to freuqent that were no longer around and it was cool...then I noticed the racism really started ramping up on city data...IMMEDIATELY after Obama got elected.

It's as if you're suggesting that black kids are more likely to underperform in school, or white kids are more likely to be smarter. That's not only dumb af and insulting, it's self hating if you're black

It's safe to assume that any forum is gonna be somewhat racist. I use city data strictly for the content in the forums. Especially as someone who's bout to be relocating.

But why should we accept that as an expectation?

During my last days on City-Data, I was within the infancy of my Black Consciousness and I became curious about what other ppl have to say about C-D, especially Black ppl bcuz I've been getting some vibes from a good amount of the posters on there, especially the white liberals and a few of their suspect-ass Negro friends.

I found a commentary forum somewhere online where these ppl have explicitly said that C-D is affiliated with Stormfr0nt and even provided the names of some of the Stormfr0nt users who were on the C-D, including a handful of the mods from that site

So I went on a tirade on C-D on how it's a racist site and is affiliated with Stormfr0nt and even called out some of the mods who were affiliated and I said something to the Black C-D users, probably some kind of warning or something. Soon as I stated all that, I ended up getting indefinitely banned due to "ignorant trolling" It's been at least 3 years since I was banned and ya know what? I'd do it again

My C-D identity was tcave360 for anyone who was on that site while I was around. I was a member on there since 2012.

I think some of the most racist sub-forums on there were General US, Washington DC (those damn cacs are definitely a reflection of the ones that are infesting DC right now, especially that idiot Chriz Brown), Baltimore (I can't even begin to describe the shyt that goes on in there, especially from one particular poster), New York City, Africa, and Chicago.

Also, a lot of the users (even some of the Black ones) are so insanely pro-gentrification, it's like a borderline obsession.

No idea, that site has a LOT of lurkers. Before I joined that site on the day Sandy hit New York, I was a lurker since 2011 myself. I honestly forgot how I even came upon City-Data in the first place.
