It’s possible but if they lose it’s because they gutted their team to sign KD. Replace KD with a Harrison Barnes level of player and quality bench players instead of the G-leaguers they have now and I would take Golden State.

The point is without KD they had a max slot available once Barnes went to Dallas. Could have signed quality pieces to reinforce their depth and they would have been right back to their finals.

Honestly, I don't think we would've won another ring without KD. If Steph, Dray, Klay and Iggy all believed that they could've won another one I don't think they would've went to the Hamptons to participate in the recruitment presentation knowing it would result in resentment by Barnes and Bogut if KD didn't sign with them.

They went there because they felt they needed him so who am I to disagree?
