I don’t think he does. He don’t care and won’t want to give up the seat, he’s done nothing but essentially sit there and vote with Scalia and now Alito. So unless that airhead Robert’s tells him to step down (which he won’t) I don’t even think he considers it.

Sadly the only way Thomas is leaving is if he passes away. No republicans are going to vote to impeach him.

Mitch can bytch and cry all he wants, but as long as Dems have a majority in the Senate, anyone Biden nominates is getting approved.

I don't see any chance he leaves unless these disclosures give him a stroke. Especially if there might be criminal liability, he's going to hold onto power until the last moment. It will take years to push consequences against him and he'll hope the administration changes by then. Without that what pathway is there? It's not like he has any sense of shame.
