Classic albums you don't like

Too Short albums... I like Short, but not enough to like a whole album by him.

'The Diary' by Scarface... had a few bangers on there but it just never resonated with me the whole time.

Truthfully... DMX's first album... the further away we get from '98, the more of it I can skip by.

As a Wayne fan that album was not good at all and is definitely not Wayne’s best work

i don't feel Capital punishment that much. there are some dope cuts on there, but also a lot of filler material and cheesy singles. i dont say its wack per se, but compared to other classic albums it just can't hang there

TPAB has elite level production but overall it is just not good and people pretend to like it because of false critical acclaim and fake pro blackness. Hated it then because of how overrated it was and now it’s eh.

I consider C3 as an entire era, not the actual album itself. C3 sessions are Wayne as a top 5 rapper ever. The final C3 we got...eh.

No Limit got classic albums now? I don’t know about all that lol. The flat out best album out of that crew don’t get celebrated enough(Mac Shell Shocked) I enjoyed a few NL albums but I don’t know if they’re classic status.,

He’s so much better when he’s just rapping like a normal human being (Compton, HiiiPowered, etc) instead of a Nicki/Wayne variant. It’s so annoying and he is completely unlistenable when he’s doing that.

Yup. Just so happens that HiiiPowered is my favorite Kendrick song ever.

A Low End Theory I like but for someone who was born in 88, the album just isn’t as good to me as Midnight Marauders and find lot of it quite dull. Perhaps I had to be around when it came out. I even play Beats, Rhymes and Life more

will also say Supreme Clientele. I like the album but haven’t played it in years.

also agree with person who said Ready To Die. Loved it when I was like like 16, but now to me it doesn’t come close to Illmatic, Infamous, 36 Chambers, Liquid Swords, OB4CL and other classics from that era .
