Amazing albums.....what kills it for me is his albums lack replay quality.

I tried to listen to it awhile back and was like

The talent is definitely there...the subject matter is just crazy....

I'll say that The Eminem Show is probably the only one out of the ones I mentioned that I could play now.....

The only complaint were surrounding controversy about what kind of boundaries he crossed regarding homophobia etc. But tbh other hip-hop did that it didn't nearly get as much attention because he gets by far the most attention (for obvious reasons) out of any artist.

Interested to see how these results turn out. I, personally, am not a big fan of Eminem's music although I can't front on his skills on the mic. Since we are debating the overall music, though, and not just his lyrics I feel comfortable giving him MMLP from the standpoint of the HUGE singles and good quality of the overall album (if the music/content is your thing). Voting 'no' for SSLP and Eminem Show although they are both also very good albums for what they are. I'm just not sure about the classic label. Em is an interesting case though. I can see someone voting for all three of his albums, voting for none of them, or for any one of them but leaving others off the list of classics. It's safe to say that he really excels (excelled) in his lane, but that lane just isn't really my cup of tea.

That's exactly what I hope to hear from each and every person. Even if you're not a fan, at least acknowledge his music for a discussion like this. Props to you man for being mature about it.

but I feel it's moreso media generated. Don't get me wrong it's a solid album but it hasn't aged well overall as an album (other than the standout tracks). The best tracks are still great, but the skits and not so good tracks are

I definitely think it's the most "mature" of the albums and most fitting of my tastes particularly at this point in my life, but there is something about "mature" Eminem music that inherently makes Eminem less outstanding than the Eminem that he is known for being on SSLP and MMLP imo

I thought Em made a really creative album, it's a little cringeworthy and all, and probably geared towards weird ass young teens but whatever. It deserves some level of respect and acknowledgement.
