I always hear that track being brought up. Idk about HUGE on that same level as Mind Playin' Tricks but it's up there. Anyway this album is definitely more debatable than Grip It, which I feel is definitely deserving of a classic label.

If I get more than 10 votes on this poll I'll be shocked lol.
It didn't make uncut dope. But then again, neither did Trigger Happy :francis:
And Another in the morgue is nowhere near Minds.

What makes you say Another in the Morgue was a huge song?
Grip it put them on the map to the hip hop audience. We Can't Be Stopped they got much bigger because of Minds Playing tricks on me. Which was the only single for the album I believe.[/QUOTE]

Yeah, they played the shyt outta that single
bruh. Can't Truss It, Ain't No Future In Yo Frontin were some of the songs that got heavy spin out here off different albums.

The second single off We Can't Be Stopped was I Ain't With Being Broke. It got radio and video play but no where near as much as Mind Play in Tricks. Cats hit the record stores out here in the Bay, after school and paid bread for Till Death Do Us Part.

Was going to college down south when Resurrection came out All you heard blastin outta dorms the first day that muthafukka dropped was "DIE MUTHAfukkAZ!!!! DIE MUTHAfukkAZ STILL!!!!!!!!!":russ: GB had been off the scene for a minute but cats who remember GB was still fukkin with them.

I'm a Geto Boys fan, got all their albums, gonna give them a good relisten though before voting as I want it to be a clear vote, as I listen to them but some I haven't really thought about if they're classic or not. I listen to Till Death Us Do Part and The Foundation quite often, possibly those 2 the most out of their albums, currently anyway.

:wow:
Can't Truss It got so much radio play.
That video too :wow:
I had the cassette single for Ain't No Future in Yo Fronting :blessed:
Never heard the album though. Was it any good?
Ed O.G. got a lot of radio play with Be A Father to Your Child as well. :whoo:
I didn't hear Til Death Do Us Part until years later, but I had the cassette single for Crooked Officer :whew:
Resurrection was a first day cop for me. I still love that album. It doesn't get the props it deserves :mjcry:

When Grip It dropped I don't remember any type of promotions, radio singles, or even a video out here in Cali, maybe once I saw Do It Like A GO on public access or something, but older cats around the way was playin that muthafukkin tape. I used to hear Gangsta Of Love and Let A Hoe Be A Hoe blastin outta cars.

The shyt they was talking about on that record, GOTDAMN, if ya mama caught you slippin it was over. Album was outta control.
