I didn't hear Til Death Do Us Part until years later, but I had the cassette single for Crooked Officer
Resurrection was a first day cop for me. I still love that album. It doesn't get the props it deserves
Remember how much KMEL used to play Crooked Officer? Raynell had that shyt CRACKIN in the morning tellin, muthafukkaz to go pick up that new Get Boys!!!! shyt was a PSA, so was Ed Og's Be A Father. But DJ Quik and AMG wasnt helpin matters, all you heard was bytch Betta Have My Money jammin everywhere, 91 was wild..Was just talkin about this shyt in another thread.
My cousin copped that ENTIRE Breed tape just for Aint No Future. We never even peeped the entire tape for like the first week but when we finally ran it front to back that shyt was gabbage!!!!
We really couldnt comprehend how/why that could be the only good song on that tape. He paid FULL price for that shyt way back then.

but we have to be careful with the word masterpiece as well. I actually don't know if Geto Boys have a masterpiece. Like that should be the work of the absolute highest quality e.g. Illmatic. Do they have something like that?

But as I said, it has their signature song and generally recognisable songs. But I still think the album holds up well as a whole...but I'm actually gonna change my vote to 'no' classic upon reflection.
I think maybe only 1 is suitable.
