to be honest fam, I have zero opinion on this. I've never heard a Geto Boys album in full.

Thing is, if you haven't heard them, I can only imagine how little exposure most of The Coli have to this group lol. I think I need more votes though in order to have conclusive results.

I consider it a masterpiece, and I won't trip if anyone else calls it a classic -
but by the definition in the OP, I don't think it is widely considered such.
by the way breh, one word of advice: Only do one artist per discussion. It allows for deeper, more cohesive and interesting discussion. I'm not talking about this thread. In fact, this thread is perfect. I'm talking about "2pac and Kanye West" at the same time. That kinda shyt.

yeah not the first time this concern has been brought up
as i said to the other guy, i can totally understand that view, but my purpose was to kinda take advantage of the poll restrictions and squeeze in as many artists as possible into one thread, but then as you said, that comes to the detriment of discussion
the kanye/pac thread was a shytstorm
i mean for example my next thread today was gonna be Redman and Big L. or shall I just do Redman?
I think if we take artists with 2 albums and make a thread entirely for them, it's kinda unnecessary
just do Redman.
What's the rush in squeezing as many artists as possible? Take your time breh. You've started a good thing here. In fact, I'd do one every 3 days instead of a new 'classics discussion' every day. You gotta give these threads time to percolate.

I thought that I would do it every few days or so, until I did the first thread (Jay-Z mind you) and got tons of discussion and over 160 votes. Then it just got less and less and less. The Pac Ye one only registered 100 votes or so and had tons of discussion. The rest, not much to ride home about.
I guess I should base it on how long people respond. But this thread is pretty much dead, so I might as well start Redman tonight and then let this one breath before I tally up votes, hopefully more will respond in the meantime.
In a way, that's even better. As someone who isn't swayed by personal opinion, what is your perception of which of their albums were classics?
