if Nas gets more than 2 classics I won't be happy but I don't mind. Or Eminem as I posited yesterday.

Nas got at least 17 classics
Eminem will get shut out I predict. We don't take kindly to culture vultures here.
I'd really be torn as to how to vote for Em. He's certainly got three classic albums...to the pop audience
But does the core hip hop community agree
Can I put my personal feelings about Em's albums (zero classics based off quality) and be fair and impartial

This culture vulture thing needs to stop. He's acknowledged his privilege but I don't think he ever sought to abuse it. He's no Iggy Azalea or these trash white artists coming out recently.

I don't even listen to him either, but I respect what he's done.

If you're making the argument regarding Em about quality, then maybe. But how can you ignore MMLP? I don't think Criminal Minded is necessarily all that...but to not call it classic is ridiculous.

depends on if The Lost Tapes has influence and also if God's Son does

BUT

Stillmatic def had an impact and is a really good album so...

the only good things about his albums are his lyrics and flow

repetitive Subject Matter
OK production
lack-luster songs on all of them
etc..

It wasn't what he normally does but I say on an album if u play one of them discs/tapes till the shyt is damn near burning ya hands when u take it out the stereo lol that makes it classic ..I rocked to that joint all of '98-'99 till I lost it somehow

This is EXACTLY how I feel about My Homies...my whole crew wore those cd's out for about a year I got to agree with the folks that are saying that 'Face doesn't make any bad albums. I personally voted that all of those are classics except for The World is Yours and it was damn near classic, it just didn't hold my attention for as long as the others did. I also thought Made was classic as well
