Never said there was a conspiracy to keep anyone from blowing up. What I will say is that Beyoncé has/had more resources than all of her peers. How many times have the ever been multiple female R&B superstars? The only time I can recall is when Whitney and Mariah were both doing their thing around the time The Bodyguard soundtrack came out. Before that it was all Janet Jackson but she was considered pop. If anybody can honestly sit back and tell me that Amerie had the same amount of marketing dollars placed behind her debut album as Beyoncé did then I'll ask for this thread to be deleted.

There's nothing about Justin Bieber that sets him apart. Justin Bieber is under the Universal umbrella so of course they wouldn't allow any of their subsidiary labels to put out another guy in his lane because they would be cannibalizing their own interest because there's not enough room for 2 guys to be in that lane at the same time without 1 overshadowing the other.

I have no idea why labels like Sony don't manufacture another teen heartthrob but it's not difficult at all. There's nothing proprietary about Justin Bieber nor Beyoncé.

Alicia Keys is a great songwriter and talent. But she too has taken advantage of that Sony Machine. Had she not been signed to Sony she may be Goapele status right now. Goapele is a great talent but has no machine behind her.

Why would she have to sign a 360 deal if she went independent on her Husbands label? Michael Jackson was the epitome of the "It" factor. Nothing about him was common or normal from the way that he acted nor the way he danced or sang. What is Beyoncé's it factor? Does she act so different that makes her a star? Does she dance so different that make her a star? MJ had Iconic moments that turned him into a superstar. He was a star in the Jacksons, he became a superstar as a solo act. You can't recreate another "Thriller" video nor the intrigue that followed afterwards.

You can't recreate another "Motown 25" moment where he debut the Moonwalk to the masses (although dude from Shalomar created it), you can't recreate another "Man in the Mirror" MJ did Iconic shyt which propelled him into a superstar. What has Beyoncé done to make her a superstar? Was she a superstar when she was in Destiny's Child before going solo? What has she done since then to propel her into a superstar? What moment has she had to propel her to queen status? She is a superstar because of the machine.

MJ became a superstar because he was just so different from his peers, same can be said for Prince, when those people hit the scene there was no replication, there was nobody else to compare them too because they had the look and the sound that showed the disparity between them and their peers. What is Beyoncé's iconic song?

No one ever said James Brown created the moonwalk bruh. Jeffrey Daniel from Shalamar created the Moonwalk but never gave it a name.

Daniel first performed "the backslide", a physically complicated dance technique (originally performed by the dance group "The Lockers"), now known as the "moonwalk" on British television, during a performance of Shalamar's "A Night to Remember" on Top of the Pops.
