Cleveland's not even Top 5 in the Midwest.

Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, hell even fukkin' Madison >>>> Cleveland

And yes I've been to every single one of them (sadly Cleveland too), on top of living in Chicago.

Read the posts i have already disproved this notion with FACTS. The only one of those that comes even close to Cleveland is Chicago

We couldn't get another superstar cause Lebron knew he was leaving so he never recruited anybody. Both amare and bosh said they never even talked to him about coming to Cleveland but they both talked to him about going to Miami. Since he's moved he's been very active in recruiting people to Miami, here in Cleveland he and the rest of his nba friends knew he was leaving so they never came here.

There is nothing wrong with HAVING another supertar for help, but not one of the greats thought they NEEDED one. When it came down to it Jordan put the team on his shoulders and carried it to a win, that's what it takes to win a championship not worrying about what your teamates are doing. I think Lebron is learning his lesson and he will do what he couldn't here, and that has nothing to do with d wade or any other superstar.

And there are plenty if championship teams that didn't have two superstars. Last years dalas mavericks is one.

Get off them drugs man, Jordan wasnt gonna win shyt without Pippen or another great player by his side. How do you know what Magic, Bird, Jordan, etc...would have done if the 1st 7 years of their career the best player the organization could pair them with was Mo Williams? I repeat, they had 7 years to get another legit star to play with LeBron and they FAILED. Thats not his fault.

You're gonna honestly pick and choose stats to try and make a case for what a city brings as a whole? :leostare:

Green Bay has a lower crime stats on top of lower unemployment. Does it make it a better city than Cleveland? If I cherry picked as you did I'd be inclined to say yes, but I've been there as well and it wouldn't be a better place to spend your time.

Secondly, again I've been to all of them, and in terms of quality of life the other cities blow away Cleveland. What makes good quality of life? Not just employment and crime, but recreational, transportation, night life, etc. Cleveland is a boring ass place, and ranks near last among cities in the Midwest that I have been to.

Lastly, Global City Index has Chicago Top 10 in all of the WORLD. Cleveland is nowhere close, was never close, and will never be that close. It fell the same way all midwestern cities did: failed to adapt post-industrial era.

Jordan MADE pippen great. He was a good player Jordan made him great. Pippen was not a standalone superstar caliber player, none if the greats supporting cast where. Thats why they are great because they can turn a mo wiliams or a Anderson varajeo into a star.

Majic bird and Jordan have gone on record to say they would not have left to try and find another superstar to play with.

:shaq2:

I wonder where we can quantify this -- guess we'll just have to take your word for it.

I don't have no stats, but best believe you don't see as much gay shyt coming out of Cleveland as you do alot of major cities. (Kid Cudi not included :russ: although Cudi's 1st CD was a low key classic) but you don't see a bunch of nikkas in skinny jeans and tight ass shirts bumping tyga and Drake type sh!t.

Unless shyt has changed recently :manny:

You clearly have lost your mind. Pippen was the best SF in the league at that time. Rodman isnt in the HOF? You just mentioned Mo Williams and Anderson Verajeo in a conversation about Pippen. We really do need some sort of button that is the opposite of dap.

None of the greats supporting cast were great? So Kareem wasnt great? Kobe wasnt great? Kevin McHale, Robert Parish, Joe Dumars, David Robinson, man i can go down the list naming teams with multiple HOFers.

I dont care what Magic etc..said. The only fact of the matter is that they were never put into that position. Talk is cheap, we dont know what they would have done if they were saddled in an inept organization. If we want to just talk about talk then i can bring up how KG said he should have left Minnesota years before he did, he just didnt know how much better other organizations were.

That is your opinion, I am here now and I disagree with you. Cleveland public transportation sucks but other than that, it's a great place to live, work, and play. Judging by actual provable facts Cleveland is top 15 in the country. important people places and events rank Cleveland pretty high on the list.

And global city index has Chicago at 26. Probably all due to the fact that the POTUS lives and runs his campaigns out of Chicago, once that's over Chicago will fall to it's rightful place

So is the next bit:

it's a great place to live, work, and play.

Judging by actual provable facts Cleveland is top 15 in the country

Depends on how you rank those statistics. Some bumfukk redneck town is probably the best in the country with such cherry-picked stats. Is it really the greatest? No, it isn't.

And global city index has Chicago at 26. Probably all due to the fact that the POTUS lives and runs his campaigns out of Chicago, once that's over Chicago will fall to it's rightful place

You are incorrect.

:comeon: Larry bird

Not comparing pippin to mo or Anderson, but if either of them played with Jordan they would be all star players Kobe wasn't great YET. Kareem is an exeption. And the rest if the dudes you named could not have been a team carrying superstar on their own.

Larry Bird was not better than Pippen when the Bulls started their title run. Bird could barely even move. And even if i did give you Bird, thats one year during 6 title runs that Bird was there. Kobe was better than anyone LeBron ever played with on the Cavs, easily. During the 2nd title run Kobe was clearly option 1B.

The other people i named are legit great players. Anderson Verajeo, Mo Williams, JJ Hickson, Delonte West, Ilgauskus, etc... are not and never would be under any circumstance.

I swear the greatest con Jordan has going is that he won those titles alone. The only person who can attempt to make that claim is Hakeem for the Rockets 1st championship.
