I think the production is the weak point of the album. I wish there were more beats like b*stards. FICO is the only other beat that stands out

Pusha can diss Jim but people act like it's beneath pusha to respond to Jim. He started it but the rules arent consistent.
im a Jim hater but you are correct

Malice is such a dope rapper he doesn't need to curse or do drug rap shyt for this to be good. Can imagine him taking an approach like Nip/Starlito/modern Nas/etc when it comes to just rapping about every day shyt, rapping about being solid, brag raps, etc.
And judging by the intro to the album some of that brushed off on Push, finally sitting down to listen to this album and was not expecting such a heartfelt opening. All my anxieties about what the quality of this album would be washed away by the 8th bar. 12 songs to go and we're off to a fantastic start.

Jim started it.

And yes its beneath Push to keep on engaging with an MC as garbage as Jim Jones. Jim ain’t even battling for the sport/art of it he’s just trying to go viral.

“My entire life has been blessed beyond measure,
If it marks the end of an era, it’s been a pleasure,
The wings still raised on the Carreras,
The dreams still King like Coretta,
The dreams still B.I.G like Miss Violetta….”

Malice went the fukk off :wow:

Bubbles was sick he need medicine
brought him back to life
now he dead again
Richard dont make watches 4 presidents
just a million trapped between skeletons

didn't like the hook when I first heard this but even that has grown on me after the 3rd listen, Dot gassed too.

Not since his beloved tuna bagel ended up being chicken salad has Drake been filled with so much sadness, anger and fear. I know this lineup had him temper tantrumming in front of some strong jawed OF model with rock hard tiddys

His pen is vicious, these rappers are lucky he gave his life up to God. After I'm done listening to this album I'm going back through the catalog and reliving the greatness, I wish the Re Up series was on streaming.

Jim went on a bunch of interviews dissing, looking for attention similar to the Nas shyt.

Push addressed it, he prolly never intended to really go back and forth because it's Jim.. He's not really worth it.

After that response, it's really not.

Agreed and I've never been a Pharrell/Neptunes fan. He laced that album with multiple heaters.
It's a weird thing cause I never cared that much for Pharrell/Neptunes beats either but I've also never been disappointed by a Clipse album

Nah, Chad and Pharrell both worked on HHNF.

I don’t know when that rumor started online, but people not crediting Chad for his work, is why he's suing Pharrell, lol. He said he worked on Pusha's last album too, but wasn't credited for the beats he worked on. He said he had to reach out to Pharrell to fix that. Pharrell likes to be in the front, so he's been taking credit for work that he did with Chad, but has people saying it was just him. That's been happening for a minute. I remember Chad talking about going with a darker theme for HHNF, then I started seeing people online saying Pharrell did the whole album. I wouldn't be surprised if P started that rumor.

:lolbron:
Even Push said this is true tho, he said it was all P and that it's his favorite Clipse album

Mad true.

Which is why Kelis was wildin' and calling out Chad on IG. Saying he needs to stop letting Pharrell steal his credit and man up and tell people what he worked on and wasn't credited for. But dude is crazy laidback and humble. He's not trying to be all in the front and in the videos like that.

And for any artist who wants to stay an artist and wont have to worry about the producer all at the fashion show, dancing, wearing scarves and church lady hats...come to Chad Hugo.
