Even Push said this is true tho, he said it was all P and that it's his favorite Clipse album

Chad said he worked on it and was suing because he didn't get his credit. So It's like I was saying before, that's for them to work out.

Push and Malice just said they miss having Chad involved in the process. He was the one doing all those dope chords and playing mad instruments. P's new sound is cool, but nothing beats that old classic Neptunes sound. The production had so many layers back then. Sh*t was innovative. Especially in today's game with sh*t being a little too stripped down, that sound would be dope to hear again on a Clipse project.

Almost ever beat on this album could have been placed on HHNF. Nothing is “new” about this sound.

Jim went on a bunch of interviews dissing, looking for attention similar to the Nas shyt.

Push addressed it, he prolly never intended to really go back and forth because it's Jim.. He's not really worth it.

After that response, it's really not.
He didnt really diss him on some beef shyt. He just thought he was way too high on an all time list. He complimented him in the same interview. It was blown out of proportion

Yeah that's fair, I read an article about the litigation some years back and it did seem like one extreme had to be true, either Pharrell been carrying Chad the whole time or Pharrell a snake who trying to act like he did it all on his own. From what the article laid out at least the main issue of the case seemed to be ownership of the name and logo and not production credits but admittedly I'm not too tapped in with Neptunes process in the studio sans what we saw on the DVD from the 2nd pressing of Lord Willin.

While this may be an unpopular opinion Lord Willin is still my favorite Clipse album by a big margin but, its also a placeholder for a time in my life that I hold dear, rolling around in the homies jeep, more passengers than the law permits, listening to Cott Damn and everybody picking a verse to mimic, out of everyone in our little crew that had Lord Willin as the soundtrack to that year theres only 2 of us left, so I'm bias with that album holding so many good memories associated with it.

fukk sales but for anyone who experienced it in real time yawl have to admit Grindin and Cott Damn made massive impacts on the culture, even just think how many mixtapes have rappers freestyling on those 2 beats during that time.

I'll say this tho, if Soopafly could see in his heart to get back being a dynamic production duo after Daz ragdolled him at the swap meet and knocked out all his front teeth and bought his publishing off him at his lowest moment for a piddly handful of thousands then P and Chad could squash this feud and maybe we get one more Re Up Gang classic.

Suge just didn’t use spit before sliding it in ol’ boy that night :sadcam:
:martin:

Unlike everybody's favorite mascara wearing dead beat dad Suge never was on no faq shyt or beating women, theres plenty to critique hip hops greatest label owner without making shyt up

You can tell they we're jamming "Hate blood" from the jermaine dupri album specifically Jadakiss's verse to come up with that title.

"Papi had raw, then I bought him out
You know me, fukk n...
Kill 'em all, let God sort 'em out..."

they ain't slick :myman:
You realize that's an ancient ass quote pre dating hip hop in general right? Like I'm talking early 1200s siege of Beziers ancient.

Lord Willin' is still my favorite Clipse album too.

But HHNF is right there with it. They're mad close, for me. Two straight up classics.

Something is telling me that Chad and P work it out, at some point. Whatever was going on, doesn't seem like have actual beef or whatever. They all grew up together and have mad history. And Clipse still speak fondly of Chad, so I feel like they might get a reunion going on.

Mann F U C K that! Part 2 is dope and Push ain’t got nothing to apologize for. I’m glad Part 2 is still part of my download.

The only thing I didn't like about 2 is if you heard the leak from the fashion show there was a crazy build up/bridge which the finished version didn't have.
