i never noticed it until someone said it but despite Neptunes being credited for Hell Hath No Fury it was Pharrell who did all the songs

he is the sole writer on the songs with the clipse no Chad.

then when i dig i see articles from that time period and shyt gets deep...

Clipse have put on lyrical bulk while selling weight, but the Neptunes have only shed pounds. It seems that the dynamic duo has been trimmed to one—partner-in-rhyme-backing Chad Hugo isn’t credited on any of the album tracks—and sole survivor Pharrell opted for “Paid in Full” style minimalism. It’s a bulimic sound, drenched in bile. Most of the beats are pounded flat into hard, flawless two-bar phrases that loop relentlessly, making “Hell Hath No Fury” even tighter. .

“Hello New World” is probably the best track Pharrell has mixed in a couple of years (apart from “Trill,” this recording’s knives-out club banger). Simple synth string lines surge and disappear, stabbing through the sounds of a protesting bass drum and a cracked cowbell.

everyone need to apologize to Pharrell.

now it makes sense why MALICE talking like that bout Chad.

pusha clearly wont be performing anything from his good music career going forward.

Thats multiple projects and features on Kanye related work

Well here he is at Coachella just a couple of weeks ago doing stuff he did with Kanye, just be sure to let him know he's not supposed to be doing that stuff anymore going forward mmkay?

True. Pharrell can't pull that sound off alone, without Chad.

Like someone else said in this thread, he's pretty much been making the same 2-3 beats for a minute now. I'm more worried about the production on this one, than I am the lyrics. But we'll see. I'm trying to stay hopeful.

I'm curious to see what this production sounds like. P doing a whole album by himself still makes me nervous.
Pharrell did all of Hell Hath No Fury. People assume it was Neptunes but Chad is not in those liner notes, and the songs are credited to just P. That's a reason IMO why the album has a more minimalist vibe than Lord Willin.

Check the credits on Madonna’s Hard Candy too.

if yall know the Clipse history (or at the very least watched the Pharrell movie) you can tell the friendship was really between Push and Pharrell (and maybe Chad too but mainly those two). Pharrell knew of Malice for rapping with Timbaland back in the day and always wanted to work with him and through his friendship with Push, Malice came into the fold.

As a matter of fact Malice has had bars for Pharrell at one point on a few of those tracks off “We Got It 4 Cheap Vol. 3”

I always thought it was real weird how Travis literally begged Metro to play Like That on stage, months before it officially came out, while simultaneously being cool with Drake. Then he was playing all in Push's face while not playing the full diss record off Utopia. End of the day Travis is literally an empty vessel. There's nothing there emotionally or mentally. He's been running off vibes and aesthetics since the beginning...while stealing music left and right.

All we have left to know is whether or not he heard the Kendrick verse when he was on stage.

Cause…the beat alone is infectious. Its Future’s hardest song in years …and kendrick stole that show
