Comparing Pharrell to Dre is laughable. Pharrell came in the game doing what many of ya'll discredit Dre for doing: having co-producers. Pharrell was 1/2 of a duo, which technically was him co-producing for the better part of his career. Nothing for Pharrell has done solo is elite enough for us to be having a Pharrell conversation. The Neptunes are already considered top 10.

My Ngga…you are bugging.

First and foremost Pusha confirmed that even tho HHNF was credited to Neptunes, Pharrell did that dolo :scusthov:

So that COMPLETELY destroys your and many folks feelings on Pharrell solo.

Also Neptunes been broken up damn 20 years. You sitting here with a straight face and saying Pharrell hasn’t been elite in 29 years?!! :dahell:

Pharrell has Alright :dahell: , Move that dope, Feds watching, oceans, the utterly disgusting tracks from Almost Dry…and my favorite moment from Pharrell is when I found out he made Mr Morale. Not to mention the cross over stuff, the ngga made Happy. Brother he is goated.

what is there to be sorry about?

if you been listening to these nikkas from day 1 its no shocker that malice gets the best of push plenty times
Historically Push is the better “rapper”

It’s more evident than ever that Malice has the better perspective in 2025

i disagree

id argue malice was better overall on both we got it 4 cheap vol 1 and 2 and lord willin.
I’m talking straight technical stuff, flow, wordplay, etc. I’ve always felt push was better.

Even on this album i think that holds true.

Malice is the older bro. Has always held that space of being more thoughtful and mature.

For me, that didn’t resonate as much back in the day.

As an adult now, his perspective exactly what i need to hear as a grown ass man looking for grown ass rap.

I think Push is talented, but he hasn’t grown at all. Malice is the perfect balance of street shyt, but from a mature and grounded perspective. :ehh:

All that shyt is cool but it does not compare to the Neptunes catalogue

Pharell is not an elite solo producer; the body of work is not there.

He did his best work as a duo.

Im actually shocked that Push didnt start the first track with something like "you introduced me to baby powder/ first decade i didnt want to shower", mustve used a ghostwriter for the tribute, makes sense

Its going to be difficult for me to find a better album this year, maybe Nas & Preem can bring it, freshest sounding album in years to my ears

EBITDA with the sunroof open :ohlawd:
Ayo what does that Acronym stands for?
Edit: Disregard
EBITDA stands for Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization. It's a financial metric used to assess a company's profitability and operational efficiency, essentially showing how much profit a company generates from its core business operations before accounting for non-operating expenses like interest and taxes, and non-cash expenses like depreciation and amortization.

Dope albums from nas, killer mike, Redman, Ghost, Xzibit, snoop, cube, Wu,

even LL had a dope release recently.

Wayne and Will smith let Nas down tho
you my boy meach

But if you life depended on it. You would struggle to name 5 records between all those albums 😂
