Pharell is not an elite solo producer; the body of work is not there.

He did his best work as a duo.

Its crazy the Pharrell glazing that has occurred over the last decade or so. When he came back off of the cold streak with "Blurred Lines", his appearance on Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" and his own "Happy", there's been this huge push to elevate him to GOAT level. I think highly of Pharrell as an overall artist, as a producer, he, solo or as The Neptunes isn't even the clear cut GOAT producers out of Virginia. Timbaland exists. Same producer who often had the bigger and better songs when both producers appeared on the same albums.

Why?

Clearly, he wants to rap about different shyt and Malice actually started with chad first. And whenever they ask about chad ,malice always answers saying he hopes the neptunes reunite. Pusha basically said he doesnt miss chad. Plus pharrel can't give them a hit anyways.. People will say they dont care about the numbers, but with this expensive rollout and pusha dissing for clout every album,clearly they do
