Yeah you have to soak/wash the meat real well cause they piss through their skin. I always stayed away from it cause I was told it had really high levels of mercury. I tried a hammerhead that I caught when I was a kid...
Stingray on the other hand tastes good. Haven't tried Gator yet. Rattlesnake is probably the "weirdest" thing I've eaten. It was ok.
