I think apples and oranges comparison to this is the cat is both able to hear and see while the dog had neither senses.

But with that being said I do think seeing how the dog didn’t seem to bothered by it shouldn’t be that outrageous.

They technically didnt help at all actually. The murder had already happened and he had already been named a suspect after being seen on camera mailing the bodyparts before they even sent the video link to the detective. All they did by sending the video to her was prove what she already knew to be true, which was that the ID and clothing that was dumped with the torso did not belong to the torso they found. The video didnt do anything. The doc just shows that the FB Group knew that a killing took place and that he at some point was in Vancouver. They didnt know that he killed someone in Vancouver until the police already had an investigation underway.

After watching the doc me and my girl sat and talked about it and realized "So they really didnt do anything to help catch him. They just followed him everywhere".
