You're not making sense. If it was that simple, everyone would do it, no? Why dont you quit your job and start training so you can make an easy cash grab like Punk?

Not everyone is a big enough name to draw crowds without any fighting experience. Punk was, which is why Dana signed him.

Not like he got KOed or had a concussion. Just got pounded on a lil bit for a mil :yeshrug:
It's not just the ass whooping. Punk is very full of himself and to get humbled the way he did will eat him up inside. This guy is very serious about himself just got turned into the biggest joke on the Internet. That ether has to be burning him up.

Phil basically lived out the scenario where u ask ur homie how much money it would take for them to get in the Octagon n get they ass kicked...

Only difference is that he wasted two years to achieve the same result as anyone without training would :mjlol:

I'm sure this will be used as a talking point for fans still in denial that Punk had no business in that ring :coffee:
everyone knew punk is an amateur . The reason he was put in UFC was as a draw . He was asked by Dana if he wanted to fight in UFC

Wasn't invested in the outcome of this fight either way, but props to Punk for getting the biggest pay day of his career and living one of his dreams. :salute:

He obviously wasn't brought into the octagon because of his skill level but who gives a shyt? UFC is also a business and freak show fights have always been synonymous with the sport. It's no different than Pride (the organization MMA purists always point to as the golden era of the sport) feeding fighters with 0-0 records to Fedor or giving Alberto Del Rio a shot against prime Cro Cop.

Plus he returned the investment with those PPV buys and put over Mickey Gal in a major way. Seems like a win/win for everyone involved with the exception of the Green Ranger and insecure MMA neckbeards who are miserable all the time anyways. :manny:
