The Biden Administration caved in to public pressure from the media along with celebrity and public figures. They were literally using the "You owe us this" as the basis of the argument as to why she should have been the VP pick.

You can't cave to public pressure when the person is polling worst among black Americans behind white women. So I don't buy that, this stinks of the DNC putting in the candidate they believed would be easiest to control and unlikely to rock the boat more than anything.
