If y'all actually paid attention you'd realize why the democrats are struggling to get legislation through and that this falls at the feet of two senators who have been bought and paid for by the 1%, corporations, and the GOP.

The House passes tons of good legislation that dies in the Senate, because the Senate is not a democratic institution and never has been. The same goes for the SCOTUS, both exist to protect the interests of the elite.

Yet you had a lot of posters on this site insisting that Manchin wouldn't be a problem as Biden's history in Congress would help get him and others under control. They even went as far as poster videos of him smiling with Mitch like that would make a difference.

You even had people celebrating the Sinema win and calling it a one last FU to Trump for the ghost of John McCain

I still think the real problem is Sinema. Manchin would play ball if Sinema wasn't a full on obstructionist who literally won't work with Democrats at all because she's just trying to line her pockets and retire.

and who is y'all? Clearly, you don't know my posting history if you think I've ever seen the Republicans as a good faith negotiating partner. Your post doesn't make any sense, no one is even talking about republicans.

I shouldn't have to explain this, but my post is a critique of our broken system. The Senate is a relic that needs to be expanded or abolished.

She knows that she's one and done in Congress and is just trying to line her pockets as much as possible. I always said that Manchin was a Mitch plant when it's actually Sinema that's doing he and Republicans bidding.

The worst part about is that they will have no other choice but to cave into whoever is pulling her strings demands as her vote is needed to help get the tie.

Its puzzling to me as to why Joe hasnt had her more front and center in dealing with legislative talks with the Senate she was just a part of. Yes, he campaigned on being a bipartisan deal maker but he has also been out of congress since 2008 and hiding Kamala from those talks give off the impression that she cannot get things done even though a majority of the senators were just her colleagues. It's just simply not a good working relationship.

Kamala has spent her political career being a Democrat willing to act like a Republican to get ahead.

People ignored all the bullshyt she did in California and are surprised by her performance.

Harris was chosen for political reasons despite it violating every intuitive reason to do so. Plus they needed someone black. Should have gone with Demmings. This shyt is just...

I wish he'd have just taken a white woman and we wouldn't have to deal with this shyt. Theres some STRONG candidates out there but Pete aint it and Kamala isn't either...and i LIKE kamala.

Warren isn't a worse politician. Progressives bernie-dead enders dont like her. Warren connects to white working class voters in a way few other progressives actually do.

Her "scandals" in califnoria weren't that big of a deal. People just just admit they want prosecutors to not prosecute. She was, AT THE TIME, a progressive prosecutor before that was even a thing in 2014 before the trayvon/mike brown/BLM moment.

Without BLM, kamala looks untouchable in the black community.
