I know I'll probably be called a puzzy liberal or something, but I don't see a witch-hunt for illegal immigrants as something anybody should support. Having reasonable immigration policy and preventing more undocumented immigrants from getting in is fine, but I'm not trying to snatch people up out of their homes that have been here for years. Not interested in supporting white people's xenophobia.:francis:

but all white and non-white countries are against illegal immigration due to innate social and economical reasons. So why is it "white people xenophobia" when the US does it?

See, where the Democrats and other inept politicians go wrong is that they let the discussion be framed like this. :francis:

I'm not for illegal immigration and didn't say I was. What I am against is stupid and costly overreactions to the issue such as giant border walls and witch-hunts for people that have already been living here for years. That kind of thing has little to no economic benefit and is potentially inhumane, and is what I'd say it's driven by irrational xenophobia.

I dont give a flying fukk about illegal immigrants. Call me insensative or a b*stard i dont give a fukk:yeshrug:

I DONT care about any sob stories. If i decide not to pay my taxes for 10 years to feed my family. And in the 11th year i get audited. NOBODY is going to cry for me when they take all my shyt to pay off the taxes.

Let me waltz into another country with no documentation and act like im entitled to anything. They will give me that work and then boot my ass out with zero fukks.

I dont understand the argument at all. If you are here illegally you should be scared of getting deported at any time.

But it's illegal immigration, no matter the narrative and anecdotal evidence that you want to use

Again, every other country is conducting the same "stupid and costly overreaction," because there are certain entities/ideologies that are beyond political and racial rhetoric

Wow, Brother, you're above the fray and superior in every way. Pat yourself on the back.
Do you support the killing of migrants in South Africa too?
We need more thoughtful brothers like you.

It's just flat out not true that "every other country" is on some Donald Trump shyt.

Most other countries have laws related to illegal immigration and try to stop illegal immigration. Doesn't mean they're talking about "deportation forces" and walls.

it's not about supporting killing of migrants, it's about understanding why folks would feel the need to attack other folks trying to make a living also

Add together white supremacy, high unemployment, and local migrant communities separating themselves from the majority, then you will have migrants as targets. It is what it is, I wish skin color was enough to unite brehs, but this past election and US history proved that skin color doesn't mean a damn thing when a Black person is loyal to their political party or religion

So you're suggesting these other countries are not actively targeting illegals that snuck into the country, but instead focused on those that are trying to get in?

If I were from one of these war torn or impoverished places, I would try to get my family to the US anyway I could too. You have one life to live and I'd be damned if I spend all of it dodging IEDs and RPGs. I think once I got here I would do everything possible to become legit though. I wouldn't expect the states to protect my family either if I wasn't trying to become legit.

I'm not suggesting that other countries never deport illegal immigrants, but I don't know of any other countries talking about spending a huge amount of money to build a "deportation force" (Trump wants to hire 10,000 ICE agents just to deport people) and trying to do so on the scale that Trump is talking about (ie. deporting 2-3 million people). There's a difference between enforcing laws and starting unnecessary witchhunts.
