Your comp is kinda misguided. Coke rap is about the dealers coming up. You’re complaining about coke USERS. I’ve seen people ruin their lives eating fast food every day, but people still talk about running a franchise being a viable business opportunity.

I agree with you completely there.

Coke rap or rap about drug use or sales isn't any more destructive than street rap as a whole. If you want to critique rap music, critique rap music- singling out this topic doesn't tell the whole story.

Narcotics are bad for you, but there's an allure to the lifestyle of those that can afford to partake and those willing to risk so much to profit of it's use.

True, I agree with you there.

on the other hand it can be entertaining. i bet i've listened to rap longer than you but i don't know no cokeheads. so it's entertaing to me but i'm talking like benny and pusha a kendricks. it's not that entertaining in trap form

How long have you been listening to rap for? It's 1987 for me.

I presently don't know any coke heads now.

I did. I don't associate with them.

Opiods are doing far more damage than coke ever did.... i mean crack was worse than them all but no one is OD on crack today like Opiods, and thats the FDA's fault

I did coke for a bit but... if you're not dealing with any mental issues drugs aren't the issue, people are mentally ill and rely on substances that ultimately alter their brain and body as to where the become dependent on it. Coke is not the drug to attack, its the opioids

im from MA and theres a place called the Methodone Mile when I left Boston it was like 20 people out there, now its 400+ due to pharmaceuticals.... Coke is not what we should be worried about

It’s a party drug? It takes responsibility and discipline to enjoy it without getting caught up. But it isn’t heroin breh

I drank a few nose cocktails last night and I live just fine, typing this from my couch w/ my morning coffee. Do the drugs don’t let the drugs do you
Basically this. At the end of the end everything about life comes down to discipline. The same people that let coke ruin their lives probably would have let some other shyt do the same.

I hear you, but it's still a slippery slope. I can't touch it cause I'm a sober addict. I obsess and get high anxiety. But I'm in a better place mentally now.

Very true. It's not the drug but the relationship to the drug.

I just did my longest stretch of not doing coke in years. That bytch so serious. shyt a have u looking through the rug for a spec. I can't imagine what heroin and coke like

Word. I talked to a woman today who got several strokes from extremely excessive crack and cocaine use. She just couldn't stop.

I did tell her hey she's a survivor. She was on a mobile device and hardly walks. I hope she can get her strength back.
