Y’all in here saying anything lol. shyt wasn’t a classic at all. Cool match but the entrance was obviously the best part.

Never been a fan of Cody except for when he had to wear the mask. I want to see how they get him over with the regular crowd that isn’t full of die hards.
Right. Entrance was great and the match picked up at the end. But it was Cawdy. And they not gonna let him get all shyt off like AEW to cover for his mediocre talent. Good luck to him but this is it. This is him

AEW fans in this thread and all across the internet are in shambles like you didn't have a month to come to grips. Look at the replies right above this one, they legit think they're worth hitting "post reply" for :heh:
Let me spare you, nobody thinks Cody is greater than the 3 star general he is or whatever narrative you're trying to get off lol. Everyone knew he was Rollins opponent, yet in WWE fashion when they're on top of their game, they still manage to make something feel like the biggest moment in wrestling at that moment so you saw fumes from that.

Nobody but ESPN said the match was "classic", nobody said he should challenge and beat Roman. It was a moment that happened at the biggest moment in wrestling, that's all. Y'all didn't even like the motherfukker at the end so like why are you so emotional rn, like you're seeking validation for something nobody's said lol

Yet you typed a diatribe to reply anyway. You obviously don't know anybody here calling us AEW fans. :camby:

copied from another board:

recap of cody rhodes interview after his match on the ringer podcast:

- says coming back to wwe was the easiest decision hes ever had to make career wise.

- wishes aew the best and feels like he did everything he could over there and already wrestled everybody he wanted to wrestle there.

- says he told vince, bruce and nick khan he wanted to keep his look, entrance, theme, etc. and they had no objections to it and that nick khan is the nicest person he's met.

- says his new contract with wwe is probably the longest and most detailed in the history of the business.

- says triple h is legit his favorite wrestler ever, if he didn't already know before, he knows now. triple h was also the last person he saw before his entrance last night.

- says he didn't talk to any wrestler in wwe before last night and that he knows kevin owens felt some type of way about cody not reaching out to him.

- says he probably should have reached out to randy and it blows his mind that randy has become a family man considering hes the same guy who use to throw sticks of dynamite into hotel lobbies.

- always felt some type of way about nxt wrestlers being called "dusty's kids" because dusty was his father, not theirs.

- says ultimately his goal is to go for the heavyweight title in wwe because nobody in his family has done it and he wants to do it for his family's legacy.

That's what I said in the Wrestlemania thread, let's see what happens when we get to the dog days of the WWE calender.

WWE crowds (minus Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania) are nowhere near NJPW, AEW, GCW and etc neckbeards or not.

No Brandi or Money Mark to hold him back, he might fukk around and be the one to take the strap off Roman

once he gets on the mic and that dumb lisp comes out, he’s back to jobbing to Corbin.

Imma be honest his entrance was so goated last night I forgot he had the lisp :dead:
Then that clip after the match where he's talking about his dad & the emotions and gets teary eyed, while it was a nice moment the nanosecond I heard that lisp again I was like there's that non-factor nikka I knew :mjlol:
