I really don't understand the way people are buying the idea that Cody would go back to WWE considering there is no way in hell that WWE will give Cody the kind of creative freedom he has become accustomed to.
AEW basically allowed Cody to create his own corner of the company where he could do just about anything that came into his or his wife's heads with no oversight.

I agree with that, but I lay the blame on TK. Cody is still an active full time performer. He has no business being a booker or behind the scenes guy as well being full time performer. It's a conflict of interest just like how it was for his idol HHH

Exactly breh. This business would've died 40 years ago without characters/storylines. It's essential to professional wrestling. The attitude era was never known for its great ring work or workrate, but no one gave a fukk cause that shyt was pure entertainment. Nah, Cody gets in his bag with certain matches. He's a sports entertainment hoe at heart. So anything that has dramatic storytelling (like with his bro) or that big match style like with Sammy, he puts out bangers.

Cody isn't someone I want to see for "a great wrestling match" as far as the technical like you'd expect from a Bryan type. Hes annoying as shyt, but he delivers when he's book to his strengths.
