They been reporting his contract expired every week for the last two monthsJust out off the blue is why I'm skeptical.
No reports of an expiring contract or anything?

I mean, Cody being a free agent has been a thing for like 2-3 weeks I think. He even said "Nah this shyt for real, I have no contract and currently on a handshake deal"
Damn, I missed that. They been reporting his contract expired every week for the last two months
But if he's gone for real, I could see it be because of a money thing. I'm assuming CM Punk makes the most and Cody wanted something equal or better and Tony said no. He also sees what Kevin Owens just signed for at WWE and probably thinks he's at that level or better and thinks that offer (or similar) could be made to him![]()
Same mother fukkers who thought Roman cancer was a work.Also. How y’all been fans for so long and can’t tell the difference between a work and a shoot by now? If this was a shoot they would have never put out an official statement, they could have just kept feeding the sheets that he had no contract and they would have even did a lose or leave town match to capitalize on it.
This being a work makes no business sense, if anything this builds interest in WWE to see if he shows up there.
Y’all folks calling a work should be ashamed
I agree with that, but I lay the blame on TK. Cody is still an active full time performer. He has no business being a booker or behind the scenes guy as well being full time performer. It's a conflict of interest just like how it was for his idol HHHI’ll give him props for making himself a star but [if this isn’t a work, which would be awful], he easily became the worst part of the show and it would more than benefit AEW for him and Brandi to be out of there. They were cancers on screen and them not being there (ideally) would open up a lot of time for other people.
Exactly breh. This business would've died 40 years ago without characters/storylines. It's essential to professional wrestling. The attitude era was never known for its great ring work or workrate, but no one gave a fukk cause that shyt was pure entertainment. Instead of worrying about what they can do to entertain and increase viewership, these nikkas tryna get 5 stars from MeltzerYep. But you say and ppl think you hating on WWE. No........................I just like promos and storylines with my shyt and tbh I like a good promo/storyline than wresling. It's why i was excited for Bray coming. nikka was legit with the promos/story. But a shytload of AEW ppl were like "No, he trash in the ring"
That's really how you get people. When it came out that that is why the EVPs were fighting I was like damn. That means we never gonna get top level storylines. Not having good storylines and shyt is also how you get shyt like a bunch of wrestlers spinning their wheels. PnP/HFO/Dante/Lio/Hobbes and many others just ...................there.

they have an entire reality show season 2 coming. Maybe...just maybe...this is a storyAlso. How y’all been fans for so long and can’t tell the difference between a work and a shoot by now?
