What is a clean cut black man? Watch this y’all.

Gainfully employed with a white collar job, no blaccent, responsible, doesn’t listen to a ton of hip hop, likes museums etc. Those types tend to go for lighter skinned, white, Latina, OR thicker types. It’s either Megan Thee Stallion, or Meghan Markle.

nikkas marry, or couple up with skinny sistas every day…. This is silly
She wants a man she is attracted to, not just any man. That’s what I’ve learned over the past few years. It’s easy to say she can get A man. But people aren’t looking for just any person. Even brehs on here aren’t jumping to wife her, because everyone has preferences. She’s too thin for them. That’s a valid reason to not date someone. You can’t force yourself to want someone just because they want you.

If I could guess it's the hair and how she dresses. Those type of guys "typically" like a more feminine aesthetic. Could be the personality too.

as a finance guy, you hit a lot of her issues on the head. i don't have tiktok, but how she presented herself in the op is vastly different than how she's presents herself on ig. the op is more flattering for her.

but after listening to some of her ig videos, my first thoughts was her voice has a slight roughness to it, but that's something that could be fixed.

She wears her hair very short which she doesn't have the face shape for. It's not flattering and makes her look older. Her face is pretty but short hair looks much better on people with rounder or smaller heads. They (the men) don't mind short hair if it looks good. She looks a lot better with the longer hair.

exactly, her head is too oblong for short hair and i love short hair on women. exactly her style of cut too but that cut is not flattering for her head shape.

and when she wears her hair longer in other pics, it's the type of hair you see with black women who are into white men. that very frazzled dry long weavey look. or the type of bad weave you might see on *some* first generation african women.

as a breh that grew up around *talented tenth* features, the hair gotta be on point. short or long, it has to look like she comes from generations of women who know how to maintain their hair. and she has to look like she got access to good black beauticians too.

when she keeps it straight and simple, she's good. like here...

She has a very thin frame which is fine but she dresses in a fun way. I like it but it does give her an awkward vibe. It's giving tall and awkward; not lean and elegant.

i love petite women, but she's too boney. what I look for are women who are stringent with their diet and health but also who's figures show the contours that come with years of being active. whether it's running, biking, playing tennis or other racquet sports, golfing...there is a level of toneness and firmness that rounds out features that would otherwise make someone appear sick. and her figure makes me her appear sick.

also, in the way that she dresses. i look for a woman that has an eye for style. and when put together is tasteful and chic. heavy emphasis on the chic. she doesn't have to be a designer or fashion label whore but has to have the ability to go into a consignment or secondhand shop and piece shyt together that yields "chic". could be artsy chic, gothic chic, hillbilly chic, whatever, i like diverse style, but still should have that underlying element. she doesn't exactly have that. she's kinda close but a lot of the things that she puts together gives "ghetto prom" energy or "dapper donish" and it correlates to a little bit of the roughness I hear in her voice. the fabric and cloth that she uses doesn't look high quality and her cut is always skin tight. i prefer classically tailored cuts on women, things that have drape, and some of her longer dresses hit those categories but most of her style looks a bit ghetto fab and not that of someone who has spent years studying not just fashion but refined style. i also want to see tweed, herringbone, oxford cottons, cashmere, etc.. she has none of that. comes off very country.

She has no sex appeal whatsoever. That's probably a confidence thing. Those type of men, unless they are just a lame, tend to be very spicy. Lol They are fun, out going and self confident. She is giving none of that.

i don't mind a little eccentricity. I actually prefer it. but, yes, you have to exude confidence. i'm in spaces where the average person was groomed from childhood to be a leader. groomed to manage people. so everything from their mannerisms, posture, tone, how they walk, how they present and carry themselves EXUDES authority. she has to carry energy like she comes from people with authority. that actress helena bonham carter is a good example. she can be eccentric and awkward but when she speaks, she exudes power.

girl in the op got all the right foundations, she just needs to refine elements of herself and she would be a catch.

all your observations were on point.

naturally, this aesthetic is what i gravitate towards minus the obnoxious shades because it's safe. but she doesn't have to be "preppy" and i prefer someone who takes risk and has diversity in style as long as she has an *eye* for style. if she has an eye for style, then she can take more risk. but a lot of women don't have that so i default back to safe.

Most Asian men don’t like black women. They either like white or Asian women. A lot of Asian women like white men. She could have probably had a white man easily based on her appearance and lifestyle, but she doesn’t want that.

There isn’t a solution. Some people get lucky, and everyone else settles. She doesn’t want to settle, so she’s alone. All women don’t have tons of men pursuing them nonstop. She’s limited to the ones who pursue her. When it comes to women pursuing men, they aren’t going to see one, and say, “He looks nice. Let me get to know him to see if I will develop attraction later.”

And keep in mind, we don’t know how she acts with men. She could be extra clingy, demanding, starts arguments, etc. She could also be on her “boss bytch” which can be off putting for men in certain positions. Career women can’t take their career personality home to their men.

Nah peep my edit
Like i said it doesnt suit her face

Length isnt the issue at all
Ill date a bald chick if her face pretty enough
Short hair makes her look older but okay. You don't have to keep repeating yourself. It's an opinion. We disagree. That can leave it there.
At the moment I’m seeing a social worker, pharmacist and someone who works in wealth management

None of them wear wigs or weave
Oh okay... I guess I'll just throw away all the chicks in DC where I live because of 3 women you're smashing.

Thank you. An actual White collar BM speaks.

I live in DC and the professional Blk population here is huge. I'm not White collar myself but I know plenty people who are.

I notice a particular look is preferred but not set in stone.

I didn't want to say she was too skinny but I thought it. I think the particular man being discussed usually like a bit more meat. Slim thick is ideal usually.

The whole essence isn't there. It's not a bad thing. Most women really aren't equipped to deal with a guy like that. The value systems usually don't align.

If in 2025 you still wear wigs and weaves religiously you’re a loser

Just to be clear… you can’t be a clean cut nikka if you’re in the military or work a blue collar job? Just trying to understand the logic here

How would you describe your look?
:skip: Currently? 'Lady of the Manor,' loungewear in stupidly luxurious textiles, vintage slips and robes. Completely impractical, but here we are. I'm home 95% of the time, might as well be fabulous. Still petite, sexily tousled wash and go, light make up. I'm in a weird space, though. I tried to be hot athleisure girl last winter, but I freaking hate athleisure. :mjlol:

The woman I would have been is closer to @invalid's exemplar had I actually, you know, had a profession. My bestfriends from school are all different permutations of that woman. I wasn't quite her, but I was close enough. Remember when Lawrence Otis Graham talked about how the fancy Negroes ask each other a series of questions to know if they really down? That's where I failed (but it was funny to me). Otherwise, they thought I was in the club. 'Regular' bp can't tell the difference.

Back on topic: This has worked to my advantage, esp with SO. He and his family see me as of a higher social class even though, technically, they came up in houses and I came up in section 8. He calls me 'Manhattan folk.' (The outer boroughs have a complex.)

I say all that to say, you have to know your strengths and weaknesses and where to market yourself. @Gloxina says this all the time: old women ain't passing down the game! 1: You cannot just wake up one day and expect a black finance bro to fall in your lap. That's not how ANY of this works. You have to be properly socially positioned to even get on his radar, and then you have requirements to fill (as enumerated by @invalid). I dated future finance bro's my whole life in preparation for this. 2: I don't know what the hell she wearing, but that ain't it. Fashion designer where and for whom? I was briefly in fashion, on the buy side and the sell side. My bosses looked like @invalid's exemplar and one former model who wore expensive suits, well tailored to show off her shape. All three- two black, one white- stayed with the fluffiest blow outs, all real hair. Even the artsy girls did it better. 3: That car hairstyle is... a choice.

:jbhmm: Where is she from/ located? That might explain it.
