I have a 70 that I got for 1799 plus tax I beleive the 60 is 1299....Make sure your tv stand is long enough for it as you can only place the tv legs in 2 positions....Or if you hang it make sure to screw the bolts in tightly.
You got a link to the 60"?

Sony go so many damn models i dont know which one you're talking about

I think im gonna go with the Samsung PN64H5000

Its $1297 right now but i read it was just on sale for $897 two weeks ago and frys puts it on sale every month for $1097

Now i just gotta wait til it goes back on sale :noah:

I really want the Samsung PN60F8500 but they seem to be out of stock everywhere except Sears and its $1500 there

For $1300 I'll pull the trigger but I doubt the price will get any lower since nobody has them anymore

Really? Was it calibrated?

From what ive read it's supposed to have the best pic quality in its price range

Only real complaint is its not a smart tv but that doesn't matter to me

Do you think I should just get the F8500 instead or what other tvs in my price range do you recommend?

The F8500 was one of the top 3 tvs in 2013 but the 5000 series is supposed to have similar picture. But honestly wait it out. New tvs are set to launch in 2014. A 4K led will be around ~1000. Unless of course you want a plasma

I don't really care about 4k and from what ive been reading the 1080p pic quality is better on the plasmas i named than the 4K sets

Im definitely not gonna get a budget 4k tv over the F8500

I'd rather wait a year or 2 and get a high end 2015 model 4K tv for half the price over buying a new 2015 budget 4k tv now

I had a ZT60 for about 2 weeks and returned it to cop the F8500

The Sammy was brighter and the colors popped more

Are there any tvs out now that rival the Panny and Sammy high end plasmas in pic quality?
You'd have to go Sony XBR 900 series but $$$ or LG Oled again $$$
