Im not in any rush but im looking for atleast a 50" and im not trying to pay more then $700

Ofcourse 1080p is a must and im trying to stay away from pre 2011 models

So far the best I found was:

[ame=http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B007BG47IW]Samsung PN51E550 51-Inch 1080p 600Hz 3D Slim Plasma HDTV (Black):Amazon:Electronics[/ame] <----$697

LG 50" Class 49910" Diag. Plasma 1080p 600Hz HDTV 50PA6500 - Best Buy <----$599

What yall think? Should I pull the trigger on one of these or keep looking?

And link any other deals yall find in this thread please

slickdeals.com usually has good deals.

I missed out on Black Friday but I was able to get me 60'' LG Plasma from Fry's for $689.

Good Luck bruh, take your time and do your research and you should be able to get a nice TV for that price range
yea I been checking slickdeals and fatwallet everyday for the last month

They had the 55" Panasonic ut50 for $650 last week but soon as I got my taxes shyt jumped to $1000 :snoop:

Im trying to be patient tho

Need more info...

Are you using it for gaming or everything?
Are you getting a warranty? That's gonna alter the price 100-300.
If you don't want a pre 2011 model, you might as well forget about getting a plasma.

Personally I prefer LCD for Consoles/PC and LEDs for movies only. I stopped messing with Plasmas years ago, they're ok for movies only but if you game heavy like i do the screen will suffer from burn in/ghost images.

LEDs are a better quality for gaming and movie watching and dont burn as hot as standard LCDs but the LCDs tend to fair little better for gaming/pc use price wise.

Unless you're going past the $1000.00 range the brand shouldn't matter much...

I think that may have been with the older Plasmas as far as the burn in and ghost images. Granted I haven't had mines long but I looked into it and it doesn't seem to be much of an issue the last few years.

My only issue with the Plasmas are the reflections. But mines is in my Mancave with blackout curtains and I'm usually on it at night.

It's a good time to get a TV.

The best deals are always around mid-January to early February, because a LOT of sales come around to entice people into buying a big TV for the Big Game.
