I need advice/opinions.

Do any if you recommend buying a jaguar? I have a camaro and now in the process of buying s 4 door. My wife thinks I should get an Audi A7 or A8. They're nice cars also but I'm not really into cars like that to really know which one is best to have.

Audi Q7 is a big car but it is more of a practical family car, and much easier to sell if is in good condition. But the problem with audis and with the big three german brands is that the depreciation plus high maintenance costs can suck. But you should be able to get a good deal on a new or barely used a7.
If you are going to go for an audi go for either an a6,q5 or a q7.With mercedes go fo 2017 e class.

You pay another man $100+ to do a service that’d take maybe 35 minutes max to do it yourself :dame:

Get raped by stealership service centers brehs:mjlol:

Can you read..Dealership cost is $250.00 for the oil change..I purchased the oil and filter myself, and pay someone else $50.00 to do it for me...Do you know that the oil and filter alone for my car cost $100.00...Do you know what it entails to do an oil change on my vehicle..No you don't...You worry about your piece of shyt Toyota, and I'll worry about my Navigator ,Jaguar and Hayabusa..Now run along Lil' Boy.Your're barking up the wrong tree....

Didn’t you just say trade in, wash rinse and repeat ?:mjlol:

You do this continuous cycle because you know once that warranty runs out you’d get ate up by repair bills:russ: You get over 120k and random shyt start going out like ya water pump

Them brands you love don’t make cars for the long haul that’s for sure :mjlol: Most nikkas lease German luxury cuz they know once they hit a certain amount of mileage them shyts hot:trash:

Yes, Toyota/Lexus and Honda/Acura are boring whips. I’ll be the first one to admit that.. but reliability/cost of ownership> performance...any day of the week

For what it’s worth OP my second cousin is a mechanic who works on European cars. He says from a mechanical standpoint the only European brand that’s reliable in the long term is Mercedes. His advice was especially avoid the other German brands. He didn’t go into the specifics on jaguar, but it didn’t sound encouraging to hear “avoid all the other European brands”. Said they’re all mostly prone to developing a lot of problems between the 60-100,000 mile marker. If you can afford an A8 then I might go for an E-Class considering what I’ve seen personally.

Why do cats come here ,and ask a bunch of brehs about cars none of these cats own..None of these dudes are driving Audis,BMWs,Jaguars or Mercedes..Its the same opinion everytime buy a boring ass Lexus or Acura... ie ..chick cars..You need to go to the actual car manufacturer Forums ,and get opinions from people who own these vehicles. Not from a bunch of dudes who just window shop, and tell you to buy a damn Toyota...
You have point. However I think the fact he's even coming here for advice on a car might be more reason why he should just go Japanese. It would seem he doesn't give a shyt about cars so why not just get something nice and reliable and spend the windfall on something else?

Here we go.The oil change on my car is $250.00 at the dealership..Yes this is something I'm capable of doing myself, and I do on my other vehicles. It just wasn't worth it to me ,and I paid 140.00 to have someone else do it..My car requires oil changes every 15,000. miles..Now if you average that out to $30.00 at your local Pep Boys every 4,000 miles for most traditional vehicles..That's not bad...Okay you said " alot of people work on their luxury cars almost every weekend"..Come on breh..You don't even believe that bullshyt..The only people working on cars every weekend ,are the ones restoring older vehicles..I think at this point everyone agrees Luxury Car repair bills are pretty expensive..That's what CPO warranties are for.I recommend anyone in the market for one of these car's set aside and extra 3,000 to 4,000.for the final purchase price of one of these vehicles so you don't have to worry about repair cost...Back to your "fanboy" comment..Before purchasing my car I visited that manufacturer forum, and asked questions..The people were pretty honest about what particular issues would show up on these cars, and what maintenance to look for that was already done to the vehicle..They had no reason to lie..I stand by what I said when someone comes on this forum asking advice on Audis,Jaguars,Mercedes,BMWs it's always buy a Lexus,Acura,Infinity instead..That's like someone in the market for a Mclaren,Lamborghini or Ferrari, and you cat's tell them to buy a Corvette instead ,because maintenance is cheaper...

You made some good points. Like I say Benz or Lexus. You are absolutely right on getting that CPO warranty. I even free oil change with my car and up 100k miles for any service.

Now, don't blaspheme Ferrari and put the GOAT in same sentence as McLaren and Scamborghini breh :wow:

If you want something that’s gone last plus look good while doing so

Lexus all the way, jags are nothing but problems

Can’t beat em, got a ‘10 Lex with a hair under 200K on the odometer. Copped it 2 years ago with 160K, haven’t had one issue out of it AT ALL. It ain’t new, but for a an 8 year old car it still looks damn good and it’ll eat up a base model muscle car off the line. Plus for me is also how they hold they value too, I flip after I push and put that bread towards the new ride, can’t beat Lexus in that category either.

No and def no on the german stuff, Toyota or Lexus, thank yourself later.
This! I use to work as a tech at a dealership during the summer in college and all the other techs there drove Japanese vehicles (toyota/lexus or Nissan/Infiniti). Look up used Lexus/Toyota you will see a bunch with over 300k miles, that is super rare for a German car to collect that many miles. Infiniti's are also good as far as being reliable and cheap to maintain.
