This is my first semester and I'm kinda :ehh:. my grades aren't the best but i am definitely back in the groove of trying to make the most of my education after a few years off. I wanted to be a bidness major because i have multiple talents/eccentric interests and i wanted to better versed in how to make the most of them financially. I took a personality test to see what direction i want to go with my career so i don't get out of school like :lupe: 'what do i do now?'

all that aside, i'm contemplating switching to entertainment engineering. i'm looking into it now but i was wondering is that shyt hard and is it worth it? i still want to be an entrepreneur but i feel like it might be good to specialize in something as well. any opinions on this would be appreciated.

has anybody switched majors and how has that worked out for you?

I didn't switch but I'd recommend a double major if you can handle the course load

I've considered this option as well but i'm over extended with 16 credits right now. although, part of it is the timing of the classes.

Depends on what kind of switch you making and how far ahead you are cause if you're way far in other degree it might not be worth it to start ALL over again

im like a year and half away from a B.A. in Psychology, theres not point for me to give it up all the way and switch to business, so imma try to do both, i put the work might as well get the credit for both

well i'm about to wrap up my first semester so i think it's a reasonable time to really question my path without having to take any huge steps backward. i just have this picture of myself being a black howard hughes type of guy (minus the mental problems) in 15 years and tbh i'd like to see that happen.

if its only the first semester, then id say go for the switch, if you into your 5/6th semester id say just dual, your young enough in terms where this wont or shouldnt set you back at all

All my internship applications get Kobe'd into the recycling bin, I haven't networked, I don't have a resume the size of the Qu'ran, the job market is ALREADY shyt for journalists so finding a job will be :longforman: I've basically given up honestly :manny:
