Although I would like to learn a little programming. Currently taking a class where we're programming using arduino. I'd be down to help out tho.

I have an idea for a social networking app that I feel is an almost guaranteed winner...about to patent it, and once I do I'd love to build with the cats around here that can give life to the application.

Yea I have an idea of an app as well. Well actually the app was already made by a couple friends of mine, I just wanna make a couple improvements on it. I'd have to ask them about it tho.

Actually pretty good and interesting. You should try it out, there's alot of stuff online you can do. Most ppl sell it after the class but Im probably gonna keep mine and do some stuff with lights and music beats

Well here are two things I'm working on to give people ideas....

1) I currently working on a app that will let me know how much gas will cost me based on the price and amount of gallons I need to fill up so I'll already know exactly how much when I role up to the gas station. (This is pretty easy, nothing too complicated)

2) I'm also working on 1on1 NBA math adventure game for kids where they can chose a player and they will get some info on the player (such as some of their key strengths and stats). The game will include the top 15 NBA players. (A little more complicated)

How it goes is...

A) They choose one player and they play a 10 game season.
B) Each player has a certain arithmetic lesson tied to him (Camelo with addition, Lebron with mutiplication, etc.)
C) Each game consist of 5 math questions and each question they get right count as a point.
D) The better the player they face, the tougher the questions.
E) Basically the kid navigates their player to a championship by answering all questions correctly.



I got the idea from a co-worker whose kid loves basketball but suck at math, lol.

Well if we want to do something mobile, a new version of MonoTouch just came out today. They just released a free version with an app size limit. You can target iOS/android using C#.


I just have to find out what the app size limit is.

You could help because the development process have multiple stages...Engineers can be extremely helpful throughout the first three stages...after the first three, it's all about programming...

requirements engineering is a bytch. establishing priorites, and having everyone come to a consistent interpretation of what needs to be carried out ain't no joke.
