I hadn't run across him till recommended here but subscribed and now seeing his posts.

He might be in a niche because not everyone looking for a golf course lawn ( most of us like me are hacks ) and he is a a serious professional so it goes over our heads or not applicable IMO. Like all these golf course lawns, there are no trees in them and perfectly level, never happening here

Still, he puts out info amateurs can use and I like when he answers questions

I leveled my lawn a couple years ago—6 yards of sand/topsoil mix. Made me reevaluate my whole life, damn near died.

All my neighbors were like, tf is he doing?
Next year all of them were leveling too.

Look up that Celsius/Certainty herbicide combo Ron Henry talks about. shyt is pricey but kills damn near every weed, safe to use in summer too.

Last week I dethatched, aerated , and overseeded my lawn. All of a sudden this week pollen turned all the way up, everybody on the block lawnlook like we got an inch snow in our yard. Bouta to head out here with the blower for the 3rd time

Checking the zone that you’re in and doing a soil test can go a long way. Don’t just throw down any fertilizer. Figure out what your lawn needs and it will thank you in the long run. Also check to see if you have a local Ag-extension as they will have all of the information needed to maintain your lawn and which plants thrive in your local region.

I said fukk it this year and will just stick to mowing and moderate weeding. I don't wanna spend no more time and energy fighting nature. Also birds alway end up eating most of the seeds I put down. Goafers also come thru this time of year eating some of the yard. I just mow weekly and pull out any weeds I see trying to mutate into a bush in the corners of the yard. My backyard is currently a combo of grass, clovers and some weeds here and there. I already know by November the yard would go back to being mostly grass looking due to the temperature getting cold again.

I commend y'all in here who are serious about their lawn though. I used to see my neighor spend damn near half his weekend on his lawn before he fuked up his hip.

I'm cutting the grass with the reel mower cause I overseeded and my new seeds filling in . This cracka ass police randomly ride down my block and pull up in front of the crib talking bout "That's old school BOY" all i could say is best on the block ain't it . I think he realized the BOY shyt soon as it left his mouth the way he pulled off.
