Saw a movie called Bad Day at Black Rock.
What a fun movie. It's tense but yet chill. It was nominated for three Academy Awards in 1956. My only real gripe with the movie is that Spencer Tracy at age 55 isn't the best fit when he has to do anything physical.

Entire movie is on Daliymotion

Watched the Covenant with Jake Gyllenhaal and directed by Guy Ritchie. It was about a 7/10

Trying to get into that Netflix show Detective Hole, I just CAN NOT do it. It is was drag to get through 15 min of the first episode.

I watched The Dinosaurs on Netflix instead. pretty good, basically Jurassic Park without humans.

Was curious about the
twist
and wanted to see why it was so popular. Will say the film could have used better pacing, as the execution leading to it wasn't the most exciting, although I can see why certain things were done. There are a few crowd-pleasing moments, but takes a while to get there.

Watched Outcome the Keanu Reeves movie.

It was star studded cast who all had bit parts. It was honestly kind of weird and seemed like it had inside jokes. It was not good at all.

Keanu Reeves stars in Outcome, a forgettable Jonah Hill-directed Apple TV release that is neither funny nor emotional enough to leave an impact. Link in the comments for our review.

Just watched this on HBO Max. A big fan of Bryan Fuller's TV shows (Wonderfalls, Pushing Daisies, Hannibal), but don't know if this quite came together. Had some of the quirkiness, off-kilter dialog and I liked the central pairing, but the metaphor/themes weren't fully realized to me. I did enjoy reading some of the thoughts about the film after watching though.
