I've been posting on this forum since day one and I looked at the facts and I gave my opinion. If yall think that this woman decided when she woke up that she was going to go in somebody's apartment and kill a man that night then that's your opinion. The keyboard warriors are out and the "Pro" black coalition on what they would have done is fine but I've been front line out here for many black issues. I don't look at this as a cop who killed somebody but as a civilian do I personally think race was a factor in her actions I don't. I don't believe that they had ever interacted outside of that so I never got a motive for her to randomly one day want to go in and kill her neighbor. So if I missed that she ADMITTED that she had premeditated intentions on going in her neighbors apartment and killer her then I still feel the same way. I thought manslaughter from the beginning and the sentence fits that.

Oh and by the way I'm black and I get money and I've helped some coli posters up here before so people know my race you can check me on IG if you want keep the jokes to yourself

But murder as defined by the state of Texas, states that murder doesn't have to be premeditated. You just have to intend to kill the other person. Even if she walked into his apartment by mistake, she pulled out her gun and shot the man with the intent to kill. She admitted all of this.

Manslaughter in Texas just means you killed someone without intent, killing someone while drunk driving or getting into a bar fight and the other person hits their head on the ground and dies.

She literally got on the stand and said that she intended to kill him when she shot him, so how the fukk do you get manslaughter from all this?

What you have laid out is the difference between 1st and 2nd degree, both are murder.

Manslaughter = i opened the apartment door. Botham hugged me and my gun went off in its holster, and killed him.

Murder = i opened the apartment door. I thought it was mine but i saw Botham inside. Thinking he was an intruder, i raised my gun and shot him with the intent of killing him.

1st degree Murder (premeditated) = i opened the apartment door knowing it wasnt mine. I had been planning on kiing botham all day. As soon as i saw him i lit is his ass up.
