This random cac on linkedin messaged me about a "business opportunity"

I said "Nah I'm good I don't do MLMs"

Then he was like "have you had any bad experiences with them?
:larrydavidsmiley:

I said "no but I've heard about them and witnessed how toxic they are through other people"

He said some shyt like "I understand and I used to feel the same way. But this opportunity is different
:ahh:"

I blocked that cac immediately
:unimpressed:

No matter how intelligent you are, these people play on your emotions and financial stress. If something sounds too good to be true, it is
Lmao he hit you with that feel felt found. Classic objection overcoming technique used in tons of sales situations

He missed it tho on the "found" he's gotta explain the why

Feel (empathize, I understand)
Felt (theres a lot of people who feel the same way)
Found (but when they thought about it and certain way, they found it was different because of XYZ, relate it to information gained during the discovery process earlier in the interaction)

"I understand you want to talk to your husband about our personal training packages before buying. I always talk over important financial decisions with my wife. Many clients I have felt the same way before starting. What they figured out is that theres certain things they had to change in their lifestyle anyways in order to achieve their fitness goals. You told me before you ordered out 6-7 times a week. In order to get where you want to be, that's a habit that has to change as well. I'm not saying you need to completely eliminate that, because hell I love a nice meal out as well, but if you just redistribute some of that cost towards positive" etc

Actually, you’re the one who’s misinformed. You assume the people who organize these type of scam jobs are scrupulous individuals. That alone derails your logic.

Any organization which is inherently corrupt, won’t all of a sudden grow a conscience and explain the risks to those desperate enough to even contemplate showing up.

It’s like these drug mules who get caught weekly on National Geographic. They were convinced by the organizers that several officials at the airport they’re flying into have been paid off. So it’s not a big deal to carry kilos of cocaine. As long as it’s carefully hidden. They say.

Again. Do not be flippant.

compare CC scamming to trafficking bricks brehs :mjlol:

Think having a PHD in National Geographic makes you hip to the other side of the law brehs :russ:

only slightly related...why are women so prone to falling for pyramid schemes/mlms? Aren't they the main demographic in those?
