He said they are acceptable negros because they make white people comfortable.
Urkel had a whole catch phrase he used every episode similar to JJ saying “Dy-no-MITE” and Arnold saying “Whatchu talkin bout Willis.” Urkel wasn’t even supposed to be a recurring character, then he became the main one.

Carlton went from the preppy rich kid to busting out that Carlton Dance to Tom Jones almost every episode.

The point he's making isn't whether those TV characters are "c00ns" or "sellouts".
His point is that white folks gravitate to certain types of behavioral tropes when giving their "stamp of approval"(job interviews, home loans, etc) .....his deeper point(not shown in the OP clip) is that acceptable black people come in all varieties of productive behavior.

I.E. just because someone like say, Malcom X ...didn't make white folks comfortable doesn't means his behavior isn't acceptable.

But because most of yall didn't watch the special yall going off half baked info.:stopitslime:

The problem with this fukking thesis is the fact that Fresh Prince MADE FUN of Carlton from season one until the show closed

line from episode 1:

Carlton: (After giving will clothing for the dinner party episode)
“just think will, some might mistake us for brothers”

Will: “you don’t have to worry about anyone mistaking you for a brother”

The Carlton character was shyt on by writers and audience and then became beloved towards the later years because Alfonso is funny as fukk.

Steve Urkel was beloved by everyone, but shyt on mostly as a nerd with horrible social skills and a bad home life.

Kaepernick is a try hard.

About him kneeling?

Nothing is wrong with his position on that.

But there is something wrong with him positioning himself as the expert on racism now when he's probably still learning stuff his own self.

Nah, it was about his whole persona, Whitlock and a few others picked up on it a couple years back and took heat for calling it out.

Now everyone is catching up.

Whitlock isn’t the right person for that message though cause he’s an actual c00n

He needs more ppl. Dude is honestly coming off like someone who didn't grow up in our community and is regurgitating what he learned in the last couple of years.

Even the way he's talking here. He dont sound black his self :pachaha:

Feels like he is cosplaying as black.
This man’s whole intonation is just :picard:
