NFL Players were kidnapped from their homes and forced to abandon their culture, language, philosophy, history, and identity to work for NO pay in a foreign land as someone else's 'property' until they died?

Really?

NFL Career Earnings | Over The Cap

This table lists the career earnings of all NFL players in Over The Cap's database whose earnings, when inflated to account for the rise of the salary cap, are more than one tenth of the current salary cap, or $18,250,000. To see more players, filter by position using the dropdown menu above.
It’s unfair to compare football to slavery. I mean people don’t even compare our daily jobs to slavery as much as they do football. These players don’t have to be there.. also, how many players would give up that football life and life like us?

Nah for real, fukk Kap. I was with him in the beginning. I really believed he was kneeling for a noble cause but all the bullshyt that has happened since shows he’s just an opportunist.

He played everyone who supported him and got the bag. He had already peaked by the time kneeling took off. Then he started bullshytting when it came to playing again.

Got the bag from Nike and NFL for his silence. What a piece of shyt. I won’t watch one second of this horseshyt to line his pockets.

Just binged the first five episodes with my gf....it's pretty good :ehh:

The one thing I asked when that scene happened was when did the NFL combine become a thing? It turns out 1982...which is fascinating because that's when the league was starting to become majority Black.

Obviously it's not slavery but I can see where he's coming from.

Also fascinating that people are focusing on literally 30 seconds of a six episode series
