Not all requirements for a job are the same. The NFL has those things in their examinations as well as combines. These things last for half a day, and this was for high school kids. I've been there.

I think what I am saying is that the legacy of slavery impacts our lives as black people today and certain things have similarities and echo back to that past but are nowhere the same. Both prison and the NFL represent the extremes of this system; I look at prison being a place where they bid on you too. Even though there are white prisoners, the connotation of being one is not embedded in a legacy of enslavement.
