Must have been a dirty case if the NFL bowed down....100 mill is nothing when the league would be crushed with the opening of Owner's closets...
Usually when a settlement happens, that person has a solid case and the accused don't wanna take it to court![]()
im confident Kaep had some shyt in his favor. really looked like he was playing chess with them before they realizedThis isnt really true.
The vast majority of civil cases never see the inside of a.courtroom.
Has less to do with strength of the case.and more to do with the headache that legal matters can cause.
Plus, discovery can be a bytch if you have other unrelated skeletons in your closet
Im not saying Kaep's case wasnt strong, im saying in the long run that wasnt a big factor
Dumbest post of the year so far. Just everything wrong about this post.
Anyway, my personal opinion is if its about exposing corruption no NDA should of been signed. All this shows is the NFL was wrong, but we already knew that.

Fake outrage. 95% of them folk was watching the supwrbowlIt's a fact that many black people dropped the NFL for what they did to Kaepernick. Not sure where you gathered that black folks didn't care.![]()

He's probably had death threats man. Had it ever crossed your mind how many nikkas have gotten martyred for fighting for their rights?Interesting. Couple questions though. For one, why did the NFL blink on this one? The momentum seemed to be on the NFL's side as far as public opinion was concerned. I don't think the general public including a lot of Black folks really cared that much about the whole ordeal. Which leads to another question, did Kaepernick have anything in the form of a smoking gun? I'm thinking he didn't considering he settled rather than go to court. I mean it was pretty obvious a lot of owners and GMs were on the same page when it came to Kaepernick, but that in and of itself doesn't necessarily mean collusion.
Having a hard time imagining what was deemed sufficiently fair to both parties considering everything that lead up to this point. This whole thing ended in a very lackluster manner considering all the controversy.
That mf aint got no friendsThen you don’t hang around people who are really into sports, or your friends are lying to you.

Bout to leave work now, but I'll be back on later to read through the thread tho.@String Bell
@Nicole0416 our resident law correspondents, what do you think?
I dont think Kobe raped that white girl, but settled so he wouldn't have to distracted 2 seasons in a row
