Feel like Texas won't always have the absolute top team(s), but usually has the most depth from 6-man ball to 6A.

Georgia? They've always had ballers but it feels like something changed in the last 10+ years. Y'all got special stuff in the soil or food. Producing talent at an insane clip.

Feel like Johnny Football had more hype than Mahomes in high school.

Jalen Hurts? No idea where he slots. Dez Bryant....there's a lot of Texas dudes in different sports but can't tell what they're measuring.

Based on hype, Vince Young and Peterson were THEM NIKKAS. I legit remember them when I was in H.S. despite being kinda far away in Dallas.

Chris Bosh led Dallas Lincoln to a 40-0 record and the mythical national title in 2001 (I think). His hype was up there too. They were selling out every damn arena.

cool lists but some of them feel like they only went by HS pedigree and then others they went with how they are viewed in their professional careers.

what happened when I tuned in it was 27-7. Saw Hoover get an INT. Took the trash out came back in and Hoover had got scored on again. Will say Hoover had way more Breh's then they did when they had that MTV show.

You’re now seeing the result of a lot of families from South Florida moving to GA due to cost of living in the 2000’s. Our best moved away. Miami-Dade county alone had the best football in the country imo.

You also have other folks from the Carolina’s, AL, MS, etc that moved to Atlanta for more job opportunities during that time. GA is a athletic hotbed now bc all of the transplants that came.
